I went kayak musky fishing with a good friend of mine on the Outaouais River yesterday evening. Are plan was to cast and droll the shore line all the way to a spot where the previous day his brother had a fish follow his lure. He wasn't sure if it was a pike or musky but he knew it was big. Well let me tell you it was massive. Chances are it was the same fish as muskies are known to be territorial predators. It messured in at 45 inches long. Wow!

Pileated Woodpecker
Was doing some shore fishing at Petrie-Island a few years ago and took these nice pictures of a couple of pileated Woodpeckers. They were pecking away at the electrical pole. Zappppp!
